Overview and Illustration Notation Used in Deployment Scenarios

The typical minimum Frends Agent configuration contains the following Agents:

  • Development Agent

  • Test Agent

  • Production Agent

which are configured in corresponding Agent Groups and Environments.

Example Deployment Scenarios

The following example scenarios are presented in the next modules. The other deployment scenario combinations can be derived from these example scenarios. The basic assumption in the scenarios is that there is one installed Agent in each of the Agent Groups, excluding the High-Availability and API Gateway scenarios.

  • Scenario 1: Agents from Frends Cloud

  • Scenario 2: Agents from on-premises and High-Availability set-up

  • Scenario 3: Hybrid Scenario

  • Scenario 4: API Gateway Agent
