Scenario 2: Agents from on-premises and High-Availability set-up

In this scenario example all the Agents are installed in the customer's on-premises virtual machines.

The production Agents form a High-Availability (HA) configuration. In this scenario example, there are 3 production Agents installed.

Having Agents in a HA configuration activates the HA functionality by allowing the Agents to share the load with one another and to take over the execution responsibilities of a failed Agent. Note that Agents still need a load balancer or an API gateway to be installed in front of them to split HTTP traffic in on-premises installations.
