Deleting an Environment Variable or Environment Variable Group

An Environment Variable or Environment Variable Group that has variables used by a Process cannot be deleted. You must remove references to the Environment Variable from the Processes before deleting the Environment Variable.

If an Environment Variable is in use, the Delete button in the menu will appear grey, indicating that the button cannot be used.

  1. Click the dropdown icon next to the variable name to access the menu.

  2. Select 'Delete' from the menu.

  3. Click OK in the confirmation pop-up.

The deleted Environment Variable will be removed from all the Environments.
