How to add new user to Frends using Auth0 login.

To add users to your Frends tenant, follow these steps:

By default, Frends tenant will always have at least one admin user who is considered to be the owner of the tenant. This admin user is able to add new users to tenants using the admin portal.

Add the user from the admin portal

1. Admin portal

Navigate to the admin portal and log in. Here you can see information about your tenants, check release notes, and links to our documentation.

  • Find your tenant from the list.

  • Click on the settings button beside the Go to tenant button.

    • This will open up settings for that certain tenant.

  • Navigate to the Users section:

  • Click on the + Invite new users.

  • Input the user's email address and press Send invite.

This will invite the new user to you tenant and send the invitation link for them.

The user will be asked to create a new password on their first login.

The user will also receive the default role (Editor) when they log in the first time.

After this, you can go to the Frends UI, and under Administration/User management you can change the user's Role in the tenant. Checkout more about role assignments from here.

Frends highly recommends adding your own SSO to Frends. It will help you even further to manage your users through your AD. Take a look at the documentation on how to do that.

By following these methods, you can effectively add and manage users within your Frends tenant, ensuring appropriate access and security configurations.
