Version 6.1.1

Released on 2nd of September 2025

This release includes the new features released with Frends 6.1, listed in New Features, as well as improvements and bug fixes from the earlier releases.

On-premise Cross-platform Agents require .NET Runtime 8.0.15 or newer to be installed.

UI & Log service

Improvements

• New Log Service installations now go to C:\Program Files\Frends Technology instead of C:\Program Files (x86)\HiQ Finland

• Log Process instance parameters and return value is now only available on the Process level settings

• Create test button has been made more clearly accessible

• Code block, DMN Task and AI Connector have been added to the Process Editor's quick select box

• It is now possible to copy elements from older versions of Processes

Bug fixes

• Fixed issue with updating OAuth Applications from older versions of Frends which could have null field values

• Fixed issue with displaying parameter default values in the Process Editor

• Fixed Subprocess template links going to the the Process editor page instead of the Subprocess editor page

• Fixed issue with Task name not being always set in the Process Editor

• Fixed issue witb AI Audit log paging

• Fixed issue with AI Assistant not being able to take generated code into use

• Fixed issue with Manual Trigger parameter requiring double quotes (") for string input

Agent

Improvements

• TCP Trigger is now publicly available

• Azure Eventhub Trigger is now publicly available

• New Cross-platform Agent installations now go to C:\Program Files\Frends Technology instead of C:\Program Files (x86)\HiQ Finland

• Cross-platform Agent handles non-conformant (e.g. PROPFIND) request methods better without excessive logging

Bug fixes

• Fixed issue with using an Environment Variable group reference in an HTTP/API Trigger path causing Trigger loading to fail

• Fixed issue with Service Bus Trigger not showing an error when it could not access the queue

• Fixed race condition with TCP Trigger possibly causing the Trigger to be unloaded immeadiately after being updated

• Fixed issue with SQLite database not being initialized for the very first start of an Agent
